The Kabul administration troops have recently launched a brutal torture of the oppressed prisoners in infamous Bagram prison without any reason. The brutality of this kind has not been seen in the past years and the reason behind the cowardly act of the Kabul administration is not yet known.

During these horrors, on 25th March prisoners in the fifth and sixth blocks of Bagram Prison were forbidden from sun for no apparent reason. When the inmates demanded their rights, the troops began beating and stabbing, which left 32 inmates seriously injured and prevented them from medical clinic for treatment and later as punishment took the injured prisoners to the block called Dalta without providing any medicines, bedding and food.

In continuation of this horror, today the troops once again assaulted prisoners in Bravo block from which a prisoner martyred, several others beaten to coma, and more than seventy others wounded.

The Commission for Prisoner Affairs of Islamic Emirate strongly condemns this cowardly and barbaric treatment of prisoners by the Kabul administration in this sensitive time and call upon the Red Cross, all human rights organizations and other charitable organizations to stop this maltreatment of oppressed prisoners, urgently work to meet the needs of prisoners and should strongly condemn this act of barbarism.

If the horrible treatment of the oppressed prisoners is not urgently stopped, the Commission of Prisoner Affairs of the Islamic Emirate will ask military officials to consider military ways for avenge.
