As Afghan refugees and travelers from neighboring countries are coming back to their homeland due to the coronavirus outbreak and other problems but are facing a variety of issues and difficulties, therefore, all transport companies are being notified to provide necessary facilities to the distressed returnees and if possible, to lower the ticket fare of buses or to at least maintain their former pricing.

The Commission for Prevention of Civilians Casualties and Complaints has received many complaints regarding the issue of transport companies violating principles by raising ticket prices and by seating excess passengers.

Our inspection has also revealed that complaints of travelers are well-founded hence this Commission requests all companies to desist from such practices or else they shall face legal disciplinary measures and the burden of responsibility shall fall on their own shoulders.

Moreover, this Commission calls on all its provincial officials to give all necessary aid to travelers facing complications in areas of their control.
