KUNDUZ, Dec. 29 – The Islamic Emirate organized a speech competitions in northern Kunduz and southeastern Khost provinces of Afghanistan on Thursday, according to Al-Emarah News reports.

The program was attended by the students and teachers of the different schools and Madaris from all the districts of Kunduz and Kunduz city with a large number people.

The competition between the Afghan students arranged by head of the Education & Culture Department of Islamic Emirate took place in Ashab-e-Soufa Madrasa in Chahar Darah district province on Thursday.

The program began with a few verses from the Holy Quran

Later the students gave speeches prepared by students for the competition and the participants’ performance was judged by a jury of experts and different awards for the competition were presented to the winners at the program.

The aim of the competition was to help the youth to engage in positive and productive activities and spread the culture and education.

The program concluded with prayers to Allah Almighty for the oppressed and troubled Afghans and for entire humanity.

Meantime, the attendees appreciated Al-Emarah for its untiring efforts to hold such events and conferences across the country and maintain peace and security in the region.

A similar program took place in the capital of Khost province and the participants from all over Khost province took part in the competition.
