Speech competition held in Wardak

WARDAK, Jan. 16 – The Islamic Emirate organized a speech competition in Wardak province on Sunday, Al-Emarah news said.
The program was attended by the renowned scholars and Ulama, students and teachers of the schools and Madaris with a number tribesmen and tribal elders.
The competition happed in Chaghto District of Wardak province on Sunday.
The participants’ performance was judged by Ulama and different awards for the competition were presented to the winners.
The aim of the competition was to help the youth develop their public speaking skills and engage them in positive and productive activities.
During the program, the contestants delivered speeches on the importance of education, value of time, Islamic ethics and virtues and so forth. At the end of the program Dua was offered.
