KUNAR, Jan. 2 – The Islamic Emirate had organized speech competitions in several different provinces of Afghanistan including Paktika, Paktia and northern Jowzjan, according to Al-Emarah News reports.

In Paktia, a speech competition between the students of grade 5th took place in Zurmat district of this province in which a large number of people, students and teachers participated.

A similar competition between the students of grade fifth arranged by commission of the higher education was held in Sarhowza district of neighboring Paktika province which began with a few verses from the Holy Quran and ended with dua in the late afternoon hours of the day.

Later the students gave speeches prepared by students for the competition and the competitors’ performance was judged by a jury of experts and different awards for the competition were presented to the winners at the program.

Likewise, a speech contest between the students of grade five on the topic of the orphans’ rights and their care took place in Madyan district of this province on Wednesday.
