As per the statement of the ministry of Finance, customs authorities in Nimroz and Farah provinces successfully intercepted and confiscated a significant quantity of contraband items.

 

The mobile surveillance teams operating in Nimroz and Farah provinces uncovered and seized various contraband items in different areas of the provinces. The confiscated items include 1,820 kilograms of Pakistani medicine, 29,760 packets of drugs, 605 kilograms of rubber, 23 bags of beans, 336 kilograms of plastic, and 543 kilograms of chocolate. It was discovered that the smugglers intended to bring these items into the country discreetly.

 

The seized items, along with the individuals involved in the smuggling attempt, have been handed over to the relevant customs authorities for further investigation and appropriate legal actions. Such actions are necessary to prevent the illegal export or import of prohibited goods and contraband items.
