Shorabak district falls to Mujahideen

KANDAHAR, Oct. 06 – Reports say, Mujahideen assaulted Shorabak district administration center, police HQ and defense check post overnight amid ‘Omari’ annual campaign.
Attacks of heavy and light arms lasted for about 4 hours, during which they said district administration center, police head quarter and the surrounding posts were overrun, forcing the enemy to flee leaving behind 3 corpses, 3 destroyed ranger pickups, 2 PKM machine guns, RGP launcher, 2 rifles and other equipment.
