KABUL, Dec. 31 – Amid ongoing development of green spaces and recreational areas by Kabul Municipality, the renovation works of Shahri Naw park started, some time ago are going on in full speed.

Recently, the Department of Work and Maintenance of Kabul Municipality has built a 5246 square meter foot paths in the said park and the work is going on in the rest of the areas.

This reconstruction project of Shahri Naw Park includes the expansion of green areas, creation of a drip irrigation system, construction of typical canteens, playgrounds and water fountains, installation of long chairs and recreational equipment, and restoration of flower beds.

Shahri Naw Park, which is considered one of the most important parks of Kabul city is located in fourth  police district, and has an area of ​​92,348 square meters.
