Mr. Mutiullah Abid, the ministry’s spokesperson, mentioned that the excess water from the dam is being utilized for agricultural irrigation purposes.

Abid further informed that nearly 99 percent of the dam’s construction has been successfully completed, with the ongoing progress focused on constructing the power house. Once completed, the power house is expected to generate electricity with a capacity of 1.2 megawatts.

This remarkable achievement has brought immense satisfaction to the ministry and the local community. The utilization of wastewater for agricultural irrigation contributes to enhanced agricultural productivity and sustainable water resource management.
