Sewing machines distributed to 100 women in Paktia

PAKTIA, Dec. 15 – As many as 100 women received sewing machines and supporting materials provided by EPD institute in Syed Karam district of Paktia province.

Asadullah Nazari, the head of EPD, told media that each family has been provided a kit worth 14,000 AFN, that includes a sewing machine, a table, a chair, a pair of scissors, an electric and a gas Iron a gas stove and other related essentials material.
On the other hand, women who have received kits expressed happiness and said the sewing kits would help them in strengthening the domestic economy and they will be able to earn a living for their families.

It is worth mentioning that before this, the same sewing kits were distributed to 100 women in another district of this province.
