Several including commando general, intelligence head killed in Shinkot

GHOR, Aug. 12 – Reports arriving from Shinkot district state that a heavy gunfight erupted after combined enemy troops of ANA, ANP, ALP and special forced carried a huge offensive for retaking of Mudir base located close to the said district center midday on Thursday.
Gunfight continued till night hours, during which a commando general commander killed along with others, leaving 2 corpses behind and several others wounded including intelligence head – commander Zaman.
4 Mujahideen were also injured in the operation.
During gunfight enemy as usual targeted civilian compounds, leaving a 2 years old child martyred and wounding 2 other children.
Similarly 2 children were martyred by enemy aerial strikes in the area.
