KHOST, Jun. 22 – The vigilant officers of the 1st Brigade of the 203rd Mansouri Army Corps, have seized scores of weapons based on reconnaissance reports in the center and districts of Khost Province; said a statement of ministry of defence.
The amount of light and heavy weapons, vehicles and military equipment were obtained in this operation: 2 anti-aircraft guns, 7 Kalashnikovs, 1 machine gun, 1 rocket, 1 M16 rifle, 5 machine guns. Ranger vehile, 1 single-purpose vehicle, 1 forklifter, and various types of military equipment have been obtained.
It is be noted that these equipments were kept illegally by irresponsible people and have been handed over to the relevant authorities.
