SARIPUL, Jun. 14 – Late yesterday, Sayad district center of Sar-e-Pul province, police headquarters, intelligence department, and all bases and posts came under the control of Mujahideen after forcing the enemy to flee.

The puppet gunmen of the district, who were under heavy siege by Mujahideen, promised to surrender, but later kept their promise and chose to flee.

During escape they came under a Mujahideen ambush, as result of which some were killed and wounded and some others were captured alive while Mujahideen seized a large number of weapons, ammunition and vehicles from the enemy.

Meanwhile enemy planes also bombed the area, destroying a tank of Mujahidin and 2 Mujahideen embraced martyrdom.
