Sangin district liberated yet again, Qalay-i- Zal DHQ under siege

HELMAND, July. 18 – Officials say, amid ongoing ‘Omri’ campaign Islamic Emriate’s Mujahideen launched coordinated attacks on Sangin district administration center and the surroundings check posts and bases early morning today.
After a brief resistance all the check posts and the district administration center overrun, forcing the enemy to leave behind the corpses on the battle ground.
According to details an enemy base is currently under siege by Mujahideen where enemy troops are under immense pressure.
Reports from Qalay-I-Zal district of northern Kunduz province state that Mujahideen carried out offensive operation on  the said district HQ and the surroundings check posts earlier today, so far a tank and 2 vehicle have been destroyed as well as a sizable amount of war equipment seized.
According to details 8 ANP and ANA gunmen have been killed with 12 others critically wounded.
The said district administration center and police HQ are under Mujahideen tight siege.
