Salang Highway reopens to traffic

KABUL, Mar. 09 –  According to the reports of the provincial departments of the Ministry of Public Works, the condition of the country’s highways is as follows:

Salang:

Salang Highway which was closed due to heavy snowfall yesterday is now open and small cars can travel in both directions.

Ghor:

Heavy snowfall continues in the province, with many road blocked for traffic.

SAR-I-PUL:

The rains are continuing and all the roads in Balkhab district are open to traffic except the dirt road.

It is also raining in many parts of the country. But all main road are open to traffic.
