KABUL, Nov. 28 – The routine session of the Technical Committee of the Economic Commission took place at Marmarin Palace, today where a comprehensive discussion unfolded on the agenda items, says office of the deputy PM.

During the meeting, Spin Zar Private Company presented its proposal for acquiring natural gas from the state-owned Afghan Gas Enterprise for electricity production.

Following an in-depth deliberation, a committee comprising representatives from the Ministries of Water and Energy, Mines and Petroleum, Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, Afghan Gas Enterprise, and Spin Zar Private Company was formed.

The committee’s mandate is to develop a comprehensive investment plan in this domain and subsequently submit it to the Economic Commission after thorough reassessment. Furthermore, the committee gave its preliminary approval to the plan aimed at boosting the revenue of the National Archives within the Ministry of Information and Culture. Acknowledging modifications made by the committee, the task was delegated to the Ministry of Information and Culture to forward the plan to the Economic Commission for final approval.
