Road Rehabilitation worth over 11 million AFN Starts in Sangin

HELMAND, Nov. 01 – Repairing a public road from the intersection of Sangin district to the center of the district has been started by ministry of public works.

Details say the repairing road which has a total length of 36 km includes repair of two culvert foundations has been contracted by the Ministry of Public Works with Hirmand Road Construction Private Company, with estimate of 11.2 million AFN, and will be completed within 5 months.

The residents of Sangin district are happy with the start of this reconstruction project as with the repair of this road, their transportation problems will be solved.
