Following the launch of Al Khandaq operation by the Islamic Emirate, the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate carried out coordinated attacks on Jaghatu district center and all enemy defense positions on 12th of the ongoing month.
The attack resulted in Jaghatu district administration center, police headquarters and all defense positions overrun by Mujahideen as well as large amount of weapons and military equipment including pickup truck and APCs being seized.
It must be mentioned that on the same night Jaghatu was liberated, Mujahideen also took over Deh Yak district of Ghazni province.
