HERAT, Dec. 17 – The Ministry of Public Works has initiated repair works for a 130-kilometer stretch of the Herat-Kandahar highway, spanning from Shouz in Herat province to Jozar in Farah province.
The project, valued at 40 million Afghanis, is currently in progress, employing the resources and equipment of the Herat Public Works Department.
As part of this endeavor, 13 bridges are being repaired. The completion of this road repair project will significantly alleviate the issues faced by travelers along this route, as compared to previous conditions.
