Today, UNAMA again published a report detailing civilian casualties caused over the course of the past year.

Unfortunately, this report once again tactfully tries to cover up the true perpetrators of civilian casualties in the country and attributes responsibility of majority of incidents to the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate.

The report states that 45% of civilian casualties for the past year were caused by the Islamic Emirate, a mere 22% is attributed to the Kabul administration forces while foreign forces that caused many civilian casualties in the country were declare innocent.

We reject such a faulty report compiled on the basis of false information, and even though this report was shared with a related department of the Islamic Emirate prior to its publication, the concerns, precise information and accurate details that were shared by us have not been taken into account in the report.

According to our information, the UNAMA report is solely compiled and released on the basis of information which the Kabul administration intelligence and other military organs provide to UNAMA as propaganda.

But the districts, villages and other rural areas that bear the brunt of the daily bombings, artillery attacks, raids, Arbaki brutality and other horrors of the Kabul administration and their foreign supporters have either been completely ignored or shown negligibly.

The Islamic Emirate has a specially designated commission for the prevention of civilian casualties tasked with preventing civilian casualties by the rank and file of the Islamic Emirate, and in cases of casualties, to investigate incidents and punish the perpetrators – a responsibility it has carried out quite admirably.

The Islamic Emirate condemns the indiscriminate enemy attacks, bombardments, raids, artillery fire and other brutalities that have caused civilian harm, and it urges UNAMA to meticulously investigate these casualties by exposing the true culprits of civilian casualties and to stop using this outright humanitarian issue for political purposes.
