GHAZNI, Nov. 17 – The repair and reconstruction work of Kabul-Kandahar highway, Ghazni-Maqar section is underway in full speed, said the Ministry of Public Works.

This road, which is 110 kilometers long, starts from the center of Ghazni city and extends to the capital of Muqar district.

 

The project is being carried out by machinery, technical workers and professional engineers of the Ministry of Public Works, and directly and indirectly provided employment to several residents of the area.

 

The reconstruction of the Kabul-Kandahar highway has already been started by the Ministry of Public Works, and repair of the two other parts (Kandahar-Zabul and Maidan Wardag-Ghazni) roads is also going on.
