According to the ministry of public wirks as of the 12th of Rabi al-Awwal, 1446, significant milestones have been achieved, including the completion of work on the 21st gallery of North Salang and the 16th gallery leading to the tunnel in the CTB section of the Salanguno highway.
Presently, there is swift progress in sealing the seams, which will soon be ready for the concrete pouring phase. Additionally, the filter layer work for the 15th gallery of South Salang is nearing completion, with the commencement of CTB layer work expected in the coming days. Excavation activities for the road and canals between the 15th and 14th galleries are currently underway.
Excavation projects are also ongoing in various sections of North and South Salang, along with CTB class work in other segments of the Salang highway.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Works has initiated reconstruction activities on the Salanguno highway in three distinct sections as per the agreement with the private sector.
