According to Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) officials the focus of the restoration project is to safeguard and stabilize the Parun Breshana Kot Canal. At an estimated cost of 8.4 million Afghanis, the construction of a retaining wall and the reconstruction of the canal are now underway. An official from the Electricity Authority in the province has confirmed these developments.

The primary objective behind these construction endeavors is to protect the electricity supply by effectively managing the river water. To achieve this, a 90-meter-long canal with a height of 3.70 meters is being built alongside a retaining wall. The total investment for these measures amounts to 8.4 million Afghanis.

The construction activities have already commenced and are expected to be completed within a timeframe of four months.
