Reconstruction of Kabul-Kandahar highway to begin soon

KABUL, Apr. 29 – The head of the Ministry of Public Works says that the construction and repair works of the Kabul-Kandahar highway will start soon and will be completed in several parts.

In the announcement of the Ministry of Public Works, the head of the ministry stated that the construction and repair work of the Kabul-Kandahar highway is underway.

The head of the Ministry of Public Works has instructed the heads of the center and provinces of this ministry to do basic work in the field of solving people’s transportation problems and maintaining and monitoring the roads so that citizens can travel easily.

Kabul-Kandahar highway is one of the country’s most important roads, on which thousands of passengers and cargo vehicles travel every day. This road has been badly damaged by wars and explosions in the last 20 years.
