The reconstruction of the administrative building of the Herat Cement Project, featuring 36 rooms, has reached 95% completion, as confirmed by Bashir Basharat, the project’s head. Once operational, the building will accommodate both domestic and foreign engineers who will commence exploration activities for the Herat Cement Project.

Concurrently, Mufti Mohammad Yousuf Saeedi, spokesperson for the Herat Governor, mentioned that exploration efforts at the project site are actively underway, led by teams of local and international experts who are carrying out essential repairs in the vicinity of the cement project.

Moreover, Mufti Saeedi highlighted that the activation of this sizable cement production facility, boasting a daily output capacity of 3,000 tons, will generate employment opportunities for approximately 4,000 individuals. Additionally, residential complexes will be constructed to house the project’s employees.

Local authorities in Herat are optimistic that the revival of this factory will not only bolster the local economy but also significantly fulfill the domestic demand for cement.
