KABUL, Jan. 15 – A total of 98,659 metric tons of goods were transported via Afghanistan Railways, last week says Afghanistan Railway Authority (ARA).
Details say these transfers included various commodities, such as oil, non-oil products, and other materials.
The imports into the country were distributed across different railway lines. The Harayatan railway line accounted for 75,367 tons, the Aghina railway line contributed 6,260 tons, and the Turghandi railway line facilitated the transportation of 1,7032 tons of goods.
Among the total tranfers 760 tons of goods were exported to foreign countries.
The statement of ARA further adds that the authority strives for further facilitation of transportation.
