KUNDUZ, Jul. 21 – Early morning hours today, Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate launched coordinated attacks on enemy positions in Pul-e-Momin and Qarlaqo areas of Dashti Archi district.
It is said that so far Mujahideen have taken complete control of the large strategic area of Qarlaqo by overrunning all enemy positions, killing 20 hirelings, wounding several more as well as seizing an APC and a sizable amount arms and military equipment.
Officials from the battlefield in correspondence with Al Emarah website say that the Mujahideen area currently advancing on the district center while the district governor appointed by the regime (Sadr uddin) and a number of other officials have fled the district.
