Following the directive of the esteemed Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Hassan Akhund, a dedicated committee has been established to streamline the issuance of electronic ID cards and enhance administrative processes.
Chaired by Deputy Mufti Syed Ahmed Messim from the General Directorate of the Minister of State’s Office, this committee includes representatives from various ministries such as Mawlavi Abdul Karim Fateh, Mufti Noorullah Rabia, Mawlavi Abdul Ahad Tayeb, and two senior officials from the National Statistics and Information Agency. Their primary objective is to facilitate the distribution of electronic ID cards, alleviate congestion, and present their research findings to the Minister of State.
The Islamic Emirate is committed to providing citizens with essential amenities and implementing effective measures to simplify the acquisition of electronic ID cards. Previously, a special delegation overseen by the Prime Minister had already reduced congestion by establishing new distribution centers for passports and improving facilities for the populace in this regard.
