Press Freedom Day Celebrated Across the Country

KABUL, May. 04 – The Departments of Information and Culture in Nangarhar, Paktia, Logar, Panjshir, Jawzjan, Helmand, Laghman, Baghlan, Nimroz, Samangan, Daikundi, Ghor, Sarpul and Zabul provinces celebrated international Press Freedom.

According to details, the representatives of provincial department, youth, scholars, journalists, press and degitel media officials participated.

Media officials said that after the arrival of the Islamic Emirate, their problems have decreased and access to information has improved in every province. Journalists and media in all provinces of the country feel safe and secure from all sides.

In all the provinces of the country, the media officials were assured by the information and culture departments that they will provide facilities to the media in various work and press fields in the future.

Meanwhile, the heads of information and culture asked the media at the country level to carry out their broadcasts by considering religious, cultural and social values.
