Post overrun in Maruf, equipment seized

KANDAHAR, Aug. 23 – According to reports from Maruf district of southern Kandahar province, Mujahideen managed to overrun a check post in Toghrhi area after an intense gunfight of heavy and light arms overnight, forcing the enemy to flee leaving a rifles, 8 rounds of RPG launcher, 3000 ammo of rifle and PKM machine gun along with other weapons behind.
