Political deputy PM meets delegation of Russian Muslim scholars

KABUL, Apr. 16 – The political deputy Prime Minister of the IEA, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, met with the delegation headed by the international representative of the mosques of Russia.

The meeting started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by the head of the international mosques of Russia and than the general imam of Sabor Mosque in Moscow, Maulvi Sheikh Zalikhayov Ahmed Magmedovich presented his best wishes and greetings to the political deputy PM.

He said that the purpose of our visit to Afghanistan is to develop relations between Russia and Afghanistan. There are 20 million Muslims living in Russia, and will further strengthen the relationship between Muslims.

The members of the delegation, Deputy Director of International Islamic Culture of Russia Gadjiov Mohammad Haji Amrovich, General Imam of the Islamic Institute of Russia and Deputy Director of International Islamic Culture of Russia Mohammad Bashir Magmidovich expressed that after the 40-year war, he is happy with the security and development and said that the continuation of the current peaceful situation and wise governance of the Islamic Emirate will eventually lead to the world recognizing it officially.

The delegation also provided information about the spread of Islam in Russia and said that Muslims do not have any problems in Russia and the visit of Islamic scholars will further increase the interaction between Russia and Afghanistan.

Honorable Mawlawi Abdul Kabir welcomed the Russian delegation and said, we expect that your arrival will lead to the development of trade relations between Afghanistan and Russia and that you will bring a good image of Afghanistan to Russia and the world.

The political deputy Primr Minister asked Russia not to be satisfied with diplomatic relations and to officially recognize the Islamic Emirate with its partner countries and we assure Russia that the territory of Afghanistan will not be used against anyone.

At the end, the deputy PM requested to increase visits of delegations of Islamic scholars between Afghanistan and Russia.
