Today, the Political Deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H.E Sher Mohammad Abbas Stankri, held a meeting with Murdif Al-Qashuoti, the Counselor of the Qatar Embassy in Kabul, said foreign ministry in a statement.

The discussions encompassed a range of political and economic subjects, as well as the implications of humanitarian assistance. Beginning the meeting, Mr. Stanakzai extended a warm welcome to Mr. Murdif Al-Qashuoti, acknowledging and expressing gratitude for Qatar’s historical hospitality and humanitarian contributions to Afghanistan. He emphasized the significance of enhancing bilateral political and economic ties between Afghanistan and Qatar for the mutual benefit of both nations.

Mr. Murdif Al-Qashuoti highlighted the amicable relationship between Qatari and Afghan people, underlining his country’s intentions to play a constructive role in advancing education and healthcare sectors in Afghanistan. He mentioned Qatar’s unique experiences in the reconstruction of post-conflict nations and pledged to expedite efforts in aid provision and bilateral collaboration with pertinent institutions of the Islamic Emirate towards these goals.
