Police shot dead, clashes take place in Gerishk

HELMAND, Apr. 09 – A police trooper was shot and killed on the spot in Parchaw area of Gerishk district overnight.
Furthermore, enemy is likely to have suffered heavy tolls when Mujahideen engaged enemy troops of ANA and ANP arriving Adam Khan Dasht area of Gerishk district with tanks, APCs and vehicles for operation.
The enemy was forced to retreat after taking heavy fatalities.
It is said that 3 Mujahideen sustain injuries while another one has embraced martyrdom during the operation.
