WARDAK, Feb. 15 – Hundreds of people protested in Maidan Shahr, the capital of Wardak province, over the release of frozen Afghan assets and in response to a recent decision by US President Joe Biden.

Protesters chanted slogans calling Joe Biden the “International Thief of the Year” and calling Afghanistan’s frozen money a public right.

They called on the United States and the international community that 9/11 attacks has no thing to do with with Afghans and America should not misuse our capital in the name of compensation to victims of 9/11.
