Passports and ID cards to be provided to Afghan refugees residing abroad

As per the Ministry of Refugees and Returnees Affairs, Minister Khalil Rehman Haqqani held discussions concerning the overall status and challenges faced by Afghan refugees in Islamabad, Quetta, Peshawar, as well as the cities of Mashhad, Zahedan, and Tehran. During this meeting, the refugee delegation updated Mr. Haqqani on the conditions, initiatives, and support services available to Afghan refugees.

Furthermore, the Minister of Refugees and Returnees stressed the importance of expediting processes during this visit, emphasizing ongoing efforts to streamline the issuance of passports and identification cards for Afghan refugees living in Iran and Pakistan.
