Pashdan Dam in Herat Province Nearing 80% Completion

The Ministry of Water and Energy has reported that the construction progress of Pashdan Dam in Herat Province has reached 80%, with the remaining tasks expected to be finalized and operationalized shortly.

Upon its full completion, the ministry anticipates that the dam will store 54 million cubic meters of water, generate two megawatts of electricity, and facilitate irrigation for 13,000 acres of land.
