KABUL, Oct. 13 – Acting Minister of Energy and Water Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor met with the representatives of Pakistan’s Oil and Gas Investments company in his office on Wednesday.

The OGIL group of investors expressed interest in investing in the production of 300 megawatts of electricity in Afghanistan and asked for cooperation of Ministry of Energy and Water of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in a meeting.

Minister Mansour, welcomed the Pakistani investors and assured them of all kinds of cooperation.

After the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan sovereignty in the country many domestic and international investors have expressed interest in investing in the electricity sector in Afghanistan.
