WARDAK, Aug. 29 – A roadside bombing destroyed an enemy tank last yesterday night in Syed Abad district of Wardak province, leaving all those aboard dead and wounded. Similarly, Mujahideen raided an outpost elsewhere in Syed Abad, sparking a brief exchange of fire but the enemy casualty toll is not determined.

Bombings kill 5 puppets in Khost

KHOST, Aug. 29 – At least 3 policemen were killed in two roadside bombings in the provincial capital of Khost province on Monday night. Similarly, two puppets were killed and another two got wounded in bombings in Sabri district of this province on Sunday evening.
