BAGHLAN, Mar. 2 – Al-Emarah News said Friday two of the enemy army bases located in Baghlan-e-Markazi district of northern Baghlan province came under Mujahideen siege the other day which the enemy tried to break yesterday after several attempted offensives.

It added the enemy advances were pushed back by Mujahideen with fatal losses and a number of the enemy security personnel were killed in the counterattacks including a commander heading one of the two bases, while the bases are still under siege, it added.

Separately, Mujahideen combatants late Thursday launched a series of attacks targeting the enemy army checkpoints along the main roads leading to Kunduz city, according to Al-Emarah reporter who did not offer further details of the enemy casualties.

Reports coming in of the scene indicate the fighting is still in progress and in both roads.

According to another report from Baghlan, 5 puppets suffered casualties and two tanks were destroyed in clash breaking out in Doshi district of Baghlan province late yesterday.
