Over 80 killed, 9 vehicles destroyed as offense repelled in Farah

FARAH, Mar. 18 – According to reports from Farah Rod district, an enemy convoy that arrived district 12 days ago for operation against Mujahideen was forced to flee late today after taking heavy fatalities.

Details say, as many as 36 ANA and ANP troops have been killed with 45 others wounded, 6 tanks and 3 loaders destroyed while 3 puppets arrested, an APC and 22 rifles have been seized during 12 days long clashes.

Enemy as usual has committed serious crimes against civilians by  demolishing more than 200 shops and compounds in Todan, Qazi Abad and Bazar area of the said district, martyring 3 civilians and leaving 9 others including women and children wounded.

It is said that 3 Mujahideen have been martyred and 5 others wounded in these operations.
