Over 5 killed, 8 enemy vehicles destroyed in Wardak

WARDAK, Aug. 9 – At least 5 puppets were killed and 6 others wounded when Mujahideen combatants opened fire on the enemy convoy with loads of supply forcing it into a halt in Syed Abad district, Wardak province on Monday.

Five supply trucks and 1 military vehicles were destroyed.

A Mujahid was martyred in the gunfight, while a passerby was wounded in the enemy fire.

Similarly, a supply truck and military vehicles were destroyed and a number of the enemy soldiers suffered casualties following Mujahideen attack on enemy supply convoy elsewhere in the said district later on Monday.

In the province’s Chak district, an armored tank and motorcycle were destroyed in Mujahideen attack on Monday. The enemy casualty toll is not determined.
