Over 40 killed or hurt as enemy offensive foiled in Badghis

BADGHIS, Aug. 20 – A recent report arriving from Marghab district states that a heavy gunfight broke out against enemy troops arriving Akazo area for conducting offensive against Mujahideen positions in order to reinforce their besiege check posts, early this morning.
Firefight of heavy and light weapons lasted till noon hours, during which 19 enemy troops were killed on the spot 8 of which are laying on the battle ground, 18 others wounded and the rest were forced to flee.
All praise belong to Allah, no Mujahideen were harmed in the operation.
