Over 36 killed and wounded as airplane shot down, 6 tanks destroyed in Herat

HERAT, Sep. 05 – Mujahideen carried out attacks on enemy troops of a hireling convoy arriving Gulmir and Sheikh areas of Pashtun Zerghoon district for operations early yesterday.

According to details, gunfight of heavy and light arms lasted till evening hours resulting in 3 tanks destroyed by RPG launcher and 3 others by IED blasts with a helicopter shot and caught fire while bombarding and ultimately crashed ground before reaching Herat airbase, killing and wounding all minions abroad.

It is said that 21 enemy personnel were killed and 13 others wounded.

A woman was martyred by enemy bombardment while 2 Mujahideen also suffer injuries and 2 others embraced martyrdom.
