This year, over 33,000 tons of onions were shipped from Kandahar to international destinations.
As per the records of the Agricultural Affairs Department within the Department of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, a total of 33,599 tons of onions were exported from Kandahar to foreign nations during the year 1403 AH. The majority of these exports were directed towards the United Arab Emirates, India, Qatar, and Pakistan.
It is noteworthy that in the preceding year, 33,149 tons of onions were exported from Kandahar to foreign countries in the year 1402 AH.
