Over 30 killed and wounded as 4 tanks destroyed in Herat   

HERAT, Jan. 17 – Reports arriving from Rabat-e-Sangi district of Herat province state that, enemy convoy that had arrived 9 days ago to the Nahr Sayyad and Sang Bar areas for operation with help of invader’s airplanes were forced to flee after taking heavy fatalities.

Details say, enemy troops were totally trapped in Mujahideen landmine and attacks during last 9 days, destroying 4 hireling tanks, killing 17 mercenaries and leaving 13 others wounded before forcing the rest to flee.

It is said that 3 Mujahideen have been wounded and another one embraced martyrdom.
