WARDAK, July. 01 – Officials say at around 4:00 am early this morning Mujahideen carried out coordinated attack on ANA base and check posts in Khwaja Muhammad Wali area of Jalrez district. Attacks of heavy and light arms lasted throughout the day, during which a military base and 3 check posts were overrun, killing 15 Arbakis as well as leaving several others wounded. Meanwhile enemy reinforcement convoy also came under Mujahideen attacks, resulting in 2 tanks destroyed killing 10 puppets inside. 3 Mujahideen have also wounded in the operation.
