Over 25 killed as 3 posts overrun in Kandahar, tank and APC destroyed

KANDAHAR, Jul. 23 – Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks on Naish district administration center, police headquarter and security check posts overnight, amid ongoing ‘Operation Mansouri’.
Attacks of heavy and light arms resulting in 3 security check points to the west of the district center overrun, killing 25 puppets on the spot and leaving several others wounded.
According to details, an armored tank, APC and a ranger pickup have been destroyed while 2 PKM machine guns, 1 RPG launcher, 7 rifles and other military equipment.
3 Mujahideen are said to have been wounded and another one has embraced martyrdom.
