HELMAND, Oct. 04 – According to a recent report from capital Lashkargah, at around 9:00 pm local time on Monday Mujahideen attacked enemy positions in Sarband and Sarkar areas.
Attacks of heavy and light weapons resulting in 2 strategic posts overrun, 25 puppets killed or hurt (12 corpses left behind), 3 ranger pickups and a vehicle destroyed.
Mujahideen foiled several enemy offensives carried out for the retaking of the said posts.
2 PKM machine guns, 1 Dshk, 1 RPG launcher, 6 rifles and other war equipment were seized.
It is said that 3 Mujahideen were wounded and another one martyred in the operation.
