Over 25 killed and wounded, 5 tanks destroyed as 3 posts overrun in Almar

FARYAB, Apr. 26 – Amid ongoing ‘Al Khandaq Operations’, at around 9:00 pm local time last night, Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks on enemy check posts in Chaghatak area of Almar district.

Gunfight of heavy and light arms, resulting in 3 enemy check posts completely overrun after killing 9 puppets, leaving 15 more wounded and forcing the rest to escape leaving 1 mortar tub, 5 Kalashnikovs and other war spoils.

2 Mujahideen were wounded and another one has embraced martyrdom during the operation.
