HELMAND, Aug. 19 – At around 9:00 am local time yesterday, Mujhideen carried out an attack on a joint ANA and ANP key center close to Nawa district center. Attacks of heavy and light arms, resulting in 17 puppets killed and many others wounded. Meanwhile, enemy reinforcement arriving from district center came under Mujahideen attacks, during which 3 APC destroyed by RPG fire, killing and wounding all gunmen abroad. In another report, a police check post in Chali Do area was overrun by Mujhideen after killing 7 police while forcing the rest to flee leaving 4 corpses behind as well as destroying an APC. According to details, Mujahideen have seized 4 rifles and other equipment in the operation.
